Description

At Home Hardware (Scotland) Ltd we pride ourselves on the outstanding level of customer service we provide to our customers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. As the Website Operative your role is to package products to a high standard clearly label ready for dispatch on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Being part of the team creating a friendly, pleasant, and welcoming environment in Wright’s Home Hardware at all times.
  • Daily processing of all orders to Home Hardware Scotland Ltd for picking from the warehouse.
  • Collecting and electronically processing invoices from Home Hardware Scotland Ltd.
  • Correcting stock from electronic invoices not received.
  • The creation and daily update of an electronic cashbook for Amazon.
  • The creation and daily update of an electronic cashbook for Home Hardware Direct.
  • Running daily X and Z readings ensuring all orders have been processed and match orders being dispatched and filing reports.
  • Process order delivery notes and dispatch labels.
  • Dispatching the goods (electronically) via Home Hardware Direct website and the Amazon Webstore.
  • Making sure that all products are well packaged and properly labelled for dispatch in advance of collection by the courier.
  • Ensuring that all purchases are charged at the correct price and paid for by customers.
  • Deal with incoming telephone calls and emails from customers and colleagues using the company salutation.
  • Escalate all complaints / faulty products to the Website & IT Manager.
  • Documenting and collating excess stock into a cage for Wright’s Hardware Ltd, passing the documentation to the Website & IT Manager.
  • Documenting and collating faulty goods returned to the Website into a cage for Home Hardware (Scotland) Ltd, passing the documentation to the Website & IT Manager.
  • Work as a team to maintain a high level of cleanliness and order in the website office area in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and Guidance.
  • Carry out any other duties as required from time to time by the Website & IT Manager.
Skills Required

  • High level of personal hygiene.
